- AusRAP
- Australian Road Assessment Program — a star-rating methodology assessing the in-built safety of roads.
- iRAP
- International Road Assessment Programme — global road safety risk assessment methodology.
- IRRT
- Infrastructure Risk Rating Tool — produces network-level risk ratings.
- Movement & Place
- A framework that balances a street's role in moving people and goods (movement) with its role as a destination (place).
- RRST
- Roadside Risk Scoring Tool — assesses roadside hazard severity.
- Safe System
- A holistic approach to road safety that aims to eliminate fatal and serious injury crashes through forgiving infrastructure, safe speeds, safe vehicles, safe people, and effective post-crash response.
- SSTST
- Safe System Treatment Selection Tool — supports selection of Safe System-aligned treatments.
- Vision Zero
- The long-term goal of zero road deaths and serious injuries.
